The draws for the various cups in 2012 have been made and Derriaghy have received some plum ties. In the Ulster Bank NCU Challenge Cup, Derriaghy have been drawn at home to 2010 winners and 2011 runners up, Civil Service NI. The game will take place at Queensway on Saturday 19th May. In the Bob Kerr Irish Senior Cup, a competition Derriaghy are entering for the first time since 2008, there is a long journey to Cork to look forward to on Saturday 12th May. The club will be playing Munster champions Cork County. Finally, in the Club Turf Ulster Cup, again a competition last entered in 2008, Derriaghy received a daunting draw. They will travel to Strabane to face the North West champions where they will face ex international Peter Gillespie and current international fast bowler, Phil Eaglestone. The tie with Strabane will take place on Saturday 2nd June. All the matches will be played in coloured clothing.
