Derriaghy scored a morale boosting victory courtesy of a 100 run victory against Creevedonnell in the Ulster Shield.

Batting first Derriaghy amassed an excellent 275 for 9 in their 40 overs. Star of the show was Craig Lewis with 90, agonisingly missing out a maiden senior ton. There were also super performaces from Ricky Hewitt 48*, Andy Kenny 46 and Colin Crookshanks 43.

In reply, Wayne Hughes ripped the heart out of the visitors batting and recorded his first senior 5-for. He ended with 6-50 and was ably supported by Lewis 2-19.
