Derriaghy suffered their 2nd league defeat of the season with a 64 run defeat against Woodvale.

Woodvale batted first and totalled 212 with their captain Connolly top scoring with 42, after being dropped 3 times. Stuart Hegarty (3-47) and Faheem Suleman (2-24) were the pick of the bowlers.

In reply Derriaghy appeared to be coasting to victory after 12 overs as they sat on 85 for 2 with Craig Lewis (38) and Suleman (24) looking commanding. However, when these both fell in quick succession, Derriaghy limped to 148 all out inside 30 overs. Only Stephen Cairnduff with 23 put up further resistance.
