Having registered their first victory of 2010, Derriaghy were further boosted by the news that after the recent flight chaos, their overseas player, Faheem Suleman, will now arrive on Thursday 6th May.

Faheem was due to arrive in time for the season opener against Muckamore, but his flight was cancelled due to the volcano ash that has caused problems for many other clubs as well.

Faheem who hails from Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, the same city as Kevin Pietersen, is an all rounder who bats left handed and bowls a brisk medium fast pace. His arrival will hopefully spur Derriaghy on, and no doubt energise everybody around the club.
